X-Ray Services

Clear Views, Better Care

AxcessPointe now provides medical x-ray services at our McGill Urgent Care. X-rays or radiographs use a safe amount of radiation to create images of the inside of your body. These x-ray images help the medical provider discover illnesses or conditions that may need treatment.

How Do I Prepare For My Medical X-ray?

  • Remove anything that may be made of metal or contain metal in it, such as jewelry, belts, watches, keys, coins, etcetera.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

  • You may eat and take your medications as you normally do unless your medical provider tells you otherwise.

Appointment Information

  • Please make sure you keep your scheduled imaging appointment. If you will be late, please call our office as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule.

  • Bring the following documents to your appointment:

    • X-Ray Order form from your medical provider

    •  Current insurance card (if applicable)

    • Payment (if applicable)

    • Contact information (i.e. form of ID)

X-Ray Resulting Process

A radiologist or trained medical provider will review your x-ray images and report their findings to the ordering provider or primary care provider within 24 to 72 hours after your exam. Your medical provider will contact you to discuss the results via phone or patient portal.
